UNITED ONE. RECORDS....
.... is an independent label based in Berlin. Our primary releases are Worldmusic and Jazz. With the belief that all music is part of an integral whole, it is our aim to bring these two diverse traditions together. In 1994, United One's first release was Sayed Balaha's solo-CD. This fine bellydance-teacher and drummer CD has become part of the set books-list at major bellydance schools across middle-Europe. Today, our programs include artists like Noujoum (of Dissidenten), Embryo, Die Ruffians, Rahala, Rachid Haroun, Shank and Oriental Mood. Future plans at United One include expansion into the Contemporary music arena in addition to new releases from our present roster of artists. And, as we continue to grow, more established and new artists will be released under the United One label. united One.records works closely with the music editor of united One.music and the booking agency united One.events.
