Eutália de Carvalho & Horst Nonnenmacher -
"O Zeppelin - poesía pura" - U1CD-3019-2
The Berlin-based bass-player Horst Nonnemacher is well-known in Jazz. Starring groups/projects like FRIGG, ASSOCIATION URBANITIQUE, BLUE COLLAR and CATHRIN PFEIFER TRIO, he is known outside Germany, too. Now, he and his wife Eutália de Carvalho have recorded a CD under their own name - mostly as a duo. The main reason for this CD were the recordings for the soundtrack of the children-theatreplay "Der kleine Graf vom See - eine Zeppelingeschichte" (The little earl of the sea - a Zeppelin-story) of Holger Friedrich for the Waidspeichertheater in Erfurt. In the studio, there was so much fun and enough time to record even more songs than initially planned. It became a very personal album, a family-album. Musically relaxed and relaxing, two cultures are meeting: Brazilia and Western-Europe. The single tracks are like notes in a diary, telling about common adventures in Brazilia and from all over the world. They are outlines at the way to a new and bigger project, that both musicians are realising together with friends. The first CD of OLOYÉ is out now. To get a little fore-taste you will find two tracks of the coming production at "O Zeppelin - poesía pura". But, pay attention! The edition of "O Zeppelin - poesía pura" is strictly limited - 500 pieces. |
